| Waxifrade, the good
Wizard of Autumn, is one of the three Seasonal Wizards who must do battle
with the evil Winter Wizard, Vrorst, to return control in the land of Enchantica
to the forces of good. The story is told in the four Enchantica novels,
written by sculptor and Enchantica creator, Andrew Bill, available through
this website.
This version of Waxifrade is from the third series of Seasonal Wizards & Dragons, following in the footsteps of Fantazar and Orolan. The sculptor of this magnificent piece. . . Why Andrew Bill, of course! Waxifrade was a wizard of deep thought and meditation, blessed with a wise and generous spirit and it was he who brought the fruits of the land to harvest and wrinkled the leaves and tugged them gently from the trees. His secret kingdom was found in the Western corner of the world beneath the splendour of the Autumn sunsets.
