The Valiant Armoury Knights Templar sword, designed by Christian Fletcher and Gus Trim, features a hand forged 1060 spring steel blade with a razor sharp cutting edge. The pommel is a type J with a Templar cross imbedded in the face on both sides. It features a simple type 2 Cross and a finely shaped leather wrapped handle that is hand dyed. The scabbard in it standard version is Antiqued brown and has the Templar cross embossed along the front of the scabbard. A double strap suspension system, designed to be easily adjusted whether on foot or on horseback, is included in this package.
This sword is inspired by the legendary Knights Templars themselves who fought during the great crusades. The Templar order was promenant throughout Europe and the holyland from around 1119 through 1307.
