| According to history, it is believed that
Lorica Segmenta was introduced in the ranks of Roman Army during the 1st
Century AD. It was widely used at the heights of the Roman Empire. Though
it could never replace the mail (Lorica Hamata) and scale armour (Lorica
Squamata). For the modern mind Lorica signifies the Roman soldiers. Our
Lorica Segmenta is closely copied from Lorica found in Newstead, Scotland,
dates from 2 nd Century AD.
Made with 18 Gauge Mild Carbon Steel, hammerd and shaped.
