The Sparta was a Roman sword used by the legionaries at the start of the 2nd Century A.D. It's creation was the result of the empire's continued contact with the Germanic tribes There are numerous examples of Sparta's available. Our creation is one which combines both Roman and Germanic influences reflecting the crosscultural exchanges resulting from centuries of warfare.
