el
Tin family has been producing replicas of antiques arms and armour since
1965. Fulvio Del Tin has been manufacturing on the basis of using
accurate and precise studies from actual museum pieces. Some of his
works are often used in historical revocations as well as in medieval swordmanship
reenactments.
Collectors worldwide have bought and appreciated his replicas which
are also exhibited in certain significant museums such as the Royal Armouries
Museum in Leeds (UK) where our products are also actively utilized in fighting
demonstrations, something only items of superior quality would be capable
of. In addition some of
his products were chosen to be used in such films as Brave Heart and
Robin Hood.
Del Tin's swords and daggers are made from 6150 steel also known as
50crV4
which is a spring steel with chromium and vanadium. One of the
best steels known.
(Now what we are
offering for sale are swords made personally by Fulvio Del Tin. These
swords here are from a Private Collection of Dr. Hal Moore. They
are in pristine condition, and each sword come sharpened. That was
how he wanted each sword.)
He has kept which swords he wants to keep and
the ones offered here are the ones he is willing to part with.
More Swords will follow!
